Smart Marketing Token was an educational project founded in 2021. The project, in cooperation with academic advisors, worked on the development of a number of projects such as Student Coin or Coinpaper.com, while establishing partnerships with the largest web3 platforms, such as CoinCodex, Dextools, Coinzilla, and Coinranking. The main goal of the project was to spread knowledge related to marketing in web3. This was achieved by the project by building an active newsletter read by more than 10,000 people each week.

At the beginning of 2024, the project took the hard decision to close the project and buy back 100% of the circulating supply above the market price. This decision was prompted by a number of aspects. The main one was the difficulty of locating capital to develop the project fundamentally. Despite the team's great faith in the blockchain market and the desire to develop it together, its constant volatility in recent years, as well as the lack of adequate regulation, forced the project to proceed with the redemption process. The project began the redemption process on April 9, 2024, with a set deadline of October 9, 2024.
