Lamina1 is a creator-owned platform and new economy designed for the future of IP incubation, distribution, and monetization.

Founded in June 2022 by legendary author/futurist Neal Stephenson, crypto pioneer Peter Vessenes, and immersive entertainment executive Rebecca Barkin, LAMINA1 provides the tools and infrastructure for builders and creators to make, share, and monetize multi-media content – enabling fan participation in the storyworlds they love.

At its core, the Lamina1 platform and protocol is a collection of independent EVM blockchains built on Avalanche, providing compute, identity, and distribution infrastructure for creators and their fans. Meanwhile, the Lamina1 Hub, its proprietary front-end platform, is an easy-to-use web app that guides creators through easy-to-use processes for incubating their IP, growing a community of fans, distributing their content, and monetizing their creations.

As the Lamina1 platform develops alongside its community of thousands of open metaverse builders, fans, and enthusiasts around the world, Profiles and Spaces will allow creators to showcase/launch their IP, build communities, and engage fans through questing and co-creation.
