What Is Chibi Dinos Hoop (HOOP)?

Chibi Dinos Hoop is a governance token that will be used throughout the Chibi Dinos metaverse. First launched to a limited investor base in July 2022, HOOP is now available to the public.

HOOP’s purpose is to give investors a voice and some high level control over how the Chibi Dinos metaverse unfolds. In its initial incarnation it will be used to make governance decisions for the P2E games, various media activations, new partnerships, guidance on the brand identity, reward structures, etc. HOOP can also be staked in various DeFi applications launched by Chibi Dinos in order to earn APR %. In addition to this, HOOP is also treated like gold in the Chibi Dinos metaverse, which is how high-end Chibi Dinos NFTs and assets are bought and sold.

Who Are the Founders of HOOP?

HOOP is a governance token launched by parent company ChibiDinos Ltd, CEO is Jeremy Lindblad.

Jeremy Lindblad has extensive experience in business development and startup ventures. Most recently he was head of global business development at Lindblad Expeditions, where he expanded on their market offerings and engaged with National Geographic to create unique joint expeditions that were previously inaccessible to the public. He has also worked for Bloomberg Ventures where he has developed long standing relationships with some of the greatest investors of our time.

What Makes HOOP Unique?

HOOP aims to balance governance and utility — the main value drivers for any in-game token.

From its inception, Chibi Dinos has sought to develop a rich set of utility and a way to democratically regulate the metaverse they’re building. To that end, HOOP has been designed to both provide investors with a way to vote on important issues that concern the Chibi Dinos metaverse, while also providing those holders with real value and a constantly growing utility.
Not only will HOOP holders have the opportunity to stake their tokens, use them to vote on decisions (such as rewards structures or additional game levels), unlock exclusive in-game content (like legendary league tournaments), be eligible for airdrops, and have access to real world perks, but they will also be able to use this token to buy and sell luxury Chibi Dinos NFTs that cannot normally be purchased by the typical in-game reward currency in the Chibi Dinos metaverse.
